KFC for Christmas in Japan?

When the Christmas season in Japan starts, you can see a lot of TV commercials for KFC. According to Wiki, starting in “December 1974, KFC Japan began to promote fried chicken as a Christmas meal.” You see a long line up to purchase Fried Chicken at every KFC shop during this season. Although, in many countries, turkey is often the choice bird for the holiday season, turkey is not a common food in Japan; it is very hard to find turkeys. However, if you are close to a Costco, you can find turkeys there.
