(Her mom seems not to get her fashion sense and most likely still doesn’t…) However, she coordinates clothes and accessories in a very unique way to express her personality. She started as a fashion model/ artist and has become a J-pop singer. Her breakout music video, ‘Pon Pon Pon’, was composed and produced by Yasutaka Tanaka, The video was produced by Jun Tamukai, the stage decorations were made by the talented Sebastian Masuda. Sebastian Masuda also created the clothes brand 6%Doki Doki and is a store that Kyary often frequents. In Pon Pon Pon, you can see lots of vivid pastel colored objects and weird flying 3D graphics that actually go well with the music. The number of views is about 59 million(2014, Jan) and is still increasing. Other Kyary Pamyu Pamyu J-pop videos are also very unique, catchy and growing in popularity.
